There is more to tequila than just margaritas. Join our Beverage Director, Kelly Coggins, and Diageo’s Bill Codman as we explore the history of agave and educate you about tequila cocktails that go beyond the margarita. Guests will enjoy a tasting of tequila and a selection of delicious cocktails made with Don Julio Tequila. Light snacks will be provided. Must be 21+ to attend, valid ID required for entry.
Bill is a renowned, seasoned and accomplished bar/restaurant veteran with 20 years of experience in the spirits industry. A former Diageo Master of Whiskey, Bill has also worked as a beverage director and manager. His passion for wine has taken him to Burgundy where he lived and worked through harvest. He has multiple spirits and cocktail certifications and has competed in many national cocktail competitions, including an appearance on TV’s “On the Rocks.” He is the creator of the nationally recognized bartending competition Cocktail Wars and has executed the event for 7 years. Bill genuinely enjoys sharing his deep beverage expertise with people who have a thirst for knowledge.
