Diners that recycle their old denim receive 20% off their bill
Match Restaurant & Lounge, located within downtown Phoenix’s art-inspired boutique hotel the FOUND:RE Phoenix at 1100 North Central Avenue, is helping to give denim a new lease on life by partnering with Blue Jeans Go Green denim recycling program. From March 1 through 31, when diners bring their old denim in to Match to contribute to this program, they receive 20 percent off their entire bill.
Every item makes a difference, and any type of denim can be recycled — not just jeans. Denim shirts, jackets, shorts, skirts, and more are all welcome. The Blue Jeans Go Green program collects denim that would otherwise end up in landfills and then partners with Bonded Logic, Inc. to upcycle it into UltraTouch Denim Insulation, a natural cotton fiber insulation. Each year, a portion of this recycled insulation is distributed to communities in need.
“We wanted to get involved in this program because it’s a great cause, and an easy way for our community to extend a helping hand to other communities in need via recycling,” says Michelle Rykalsky, Director of Marketing for Match Restaurant & Lounge and FOUND:RE.
