‘Tis the season for love, and what better way to surprise that special someone than with a spectacular bottle of rosé?! Join us Saturday, February 10th, from 12pm-4pm when we will be featuring a couple whose love and passion for wine, and each other, have led them to be the industry leaders in sparkling wines from California. In 1965, Jamie and Jack Davies purchased the once abandoned Schramsberg estate and set forth to “produce America's first méthode champenoise sparkling wines, using the noble grapes of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the classic, old-world tradition.” With the aid of the famed Mondavi brothers, Peter and Robert, as well as Louis Martini winemaker, Andre Tchelistcheff, the Davies have become the gold standard for sparkling wines in the United States. “Each vineyard [is] vinified separately to create small, individual lots of base wine, then painstakingly selected and handcrafted into America's artisan sparkling wines.”
