One of the benefits of our annual pre-inventory sale is that we now have lots of room for new wines! Over the next few weeks, you’ll see plenty of new arrivals from around the world, including a fine mix of sizzling new Under-$12 values and some excellent “every day luxury” bottlings in the teens to mid-$20s range. This week’s tastings showcase our two featured wines of the week along with three of our first wave of exciting new arrivals.
Join us from 3-7pm on Friday and noon-4pm on Saturday to sample:
Henri Bourgeois Sauvignon Petit Bourgeois 2016 – A “baby Sancerre” that’s also our all-time best-selling Sauvignon Blanc will be even more enjoyable at this limited time $10.98/ea case price!
Dom Lemonier Macon Villages 2016 – No doubt about it: vintage 2016 was a great harvest for white Burgundy Chardonnay! This all-tank example gives you a fine taste of the vintage, with generous fresh fruit and a clear, pure, finish.
Stafford Hills Pinot Willamette Valley 2015 – It’s been a long time since this old friend in the great value Willamette Valley Pinot stakes was in the house. Rich and fleshy, a fine introduction to Bill Holloran’s fine line-upl
Bodegas Enrique Mendoza La Tremenda Monastrell 2014 – Bold, robust, and full of flavor, this Wine Advocate 92 point powerhouse is the perfect warming red for bold winter foods. Or just to sip and savor by the fire from $9.98!
Best's Great Western Shiraz Bin No. 1 2015 – And to chase away the winter chill, here’s a blockbuster Aussie Shiraz that deserves every one of its 96 points from James Suckling. A powerhouse that stays just this side of over the top!
As always we’ll have a treat or two from the cheese case out to sample and best prices available when you mix/match a case of these wines during the tastings. Bring a friend or two and join us!
