Join Chef Tim for Kitchen Boot Camp! Ok…relax!!! No planks, push-ups or power lifting required! Have fun while learning the basics of cooking. Chef will offer 3 classes on Sunday afternoons – take one or all three – perfect for vacation or anytime. These are small intimate hands-on interactive sessions that will demystify the how-to’s and answers the all-important whys. You’ll leave with new skills, food in your belly, recipes to share, plus a $10 gift certificate to dinner!
Grab your girl friends, partner, and co-workers and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon. Bring your family and make cooking an enjoyable activity for young and old alike.

Sunday, March 11, 2018 – Cooking Basics I: Skills, Soups & Salads
Learn knife skills, about kitchen equipment, and the basics of soup, stock, and salad preparation. Before you know it you’ll be chopping, dicing, simmering, blending, and sauteeing your way to some delicious dishes to replicate at home.
Sunday, April 8. 2018 – Cooking Basics II: The Elements of Sauce Making
Sauces enhance an ordinary dish into something extraordinary. Learn to make the five classic French mother sauces and how they are used as a basis for modern saucing. Learn how to pair sauces with meat, poultry, chicken, vegetables, and desserts. Think Chef Hicks in the film Apocalypse Now when he remarks to Captain Willard that he was “raised to be a saucier.”
Sunday, May 6, 2018 – All About Pasta
Learn how to make authentic fresh pasta from scratch, the best fillings and sauces to go with it, and the classic ways to serve it.
Classes are 3 – 6 p.m. – $75/session – 3 sessions for $200. Maximum 4 participants.
