What if Robert Parker taught at the Wine School? What wines would he select, and how would he describe his choices? That’s the basis of this wine tasting class. Bobbie is far too big of a wine-star to teach a class, but we are popping corks and channeling his psyche tonight.
As the founder of the Wine Advocate magazine, Parker has single-handedly changed the course of winemaking across the globe. Since the 1980’s, a 90+ rating from Parker’s Wine Advocate would change the fortunes of a winery. To this day, some of Parker’s favorite wines sell out in just a few weeks after the vintage was released.
In this class, we feature wines that Parker and the Wine Advocate have rated between 92 and 98 points. We break down the metrics Parker and his staff of wine critics use to judge wines. We uncover why rates some wines highly and others poorly.
