Yadkin Valley Wine-Shine to Wine Festival

The 5th Annual Shine to Wine Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2008, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Downtown North Wilkesboro. We will have live entertainment, art, merchandise, wine, and food. General admission is FREE, and wine tastings are $15 advance tickets until April 24th, $20.00 after April 24th and at the gate! 

Along with showcasing North Wilkesboro, Wilkes County and the burgeoning wine industry in our area, this year’s event will feature our 2nd Annual Culinary Chef Challenge, where regional chefs representing surrounding restaurants will compete for the title of Best Chef, as well as other prizes to be determined. These chefs will display their cooking and presentation talents for a jury of judges and critics.

There will also be free musical performances.
