Tour 4-6 small, winemaker-owned wineries in the rural areas of Bainbridge Island, a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Two of the wineries feature local estate vineyards and operate on the principles of consumption of local-produced wines from locally-grown fruit. You will talk to the people making the wine -- and at the two vineyards, to the people growing the grapes for the wine. Enjoy beautiful marine, mountain, and Seattle cityscape scenery on the ferry rides to and from the island. For lunch, we will visit a local restaurant with excellent food at reasonble prices.
