This qualification is an introduction to wine and aims to provide basic product knowledge and skills in the service of wine. The qualification introduces candidates to: * The main styles of wine * The WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting * The characteristics of the classic grape varieties * The matching of wine and food * Service of wine * BC Wines To gain the Level 1 qualification candidates will be required to successfully complete a multiple choice paper of 30 questions.
