Ventura County Wine-The Wine Train

Rabbit Ridge Winery will feature these four fine wines:

"2006 Central Coast Chardonnay"-Estate Grown Barrel Cuvee, Paso Robles--This wine is balanced with soft, concentrated fruit making it a delightful wine. Anticipate flavors of apple and pear combined with toasty vanilla from oak aging.

"2005 Bunny Cuvee"-Live Oak Road Vineyard & San Marcos Vineyard, Paso Robles-This is a very serious red blend with an unpretentious name. Only distributed to a select number of states. The wine is approximately 40% Bordeaux varietals blended with approximately 60% Petite Sirah. Aged in French and American oak barrels for approximately 20 months and is totally natural.

"2006 Central Coast Zinfandel--Estate Grown Barrel Cuvee, Paso Robles--The Zinfandel, made to be enjoyed young, was fermented and then pressed into both new and used French and American oak barrels for months. A small amount of Syrah was blended in for added complexity. Expect bold jam and blackberry flavors with a hint of soft oak and vanilla.

2007 Viognier-Paso Robles--This wine has both soft apple and pear flavors that are well balanced with notes of citrus. It provides a lingering, pleasant and smooth finish. This wine is to be enjoyed with cream pastas and salads.

As part of the Wine Train experience, passengers will enjoy onboard entertainment plus a variety of heavy Hors D'oeuvres including Tri-tip, Chicken, Shrimp Cocktail, plus a display of fresh fruits, an assortment of cheeses and vegetable crudite in addition to our delicious dessert bar are also available to delight the palate.
