Join us on the train as we travel the beautiful Heritage Valley celebrating the award-winning wines of Winemaking Legend, Daniel Gehrs of Los Olivos, Santa Barbara County.

Pacific Oasis Winery will feature these four fine wines:

'2005 Pinot Noir'-Santa Maria Valley, Los Alamos Valley- A creamy smoothness and opulent texture. This is a dynamic, expressive Pinot Noir with seductive aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, oriental spices and smoky French Oak.

'Chardonay '05'-Santa Maria Valley, Los Alamos Valley- This is a holistic wine revealingly open to hedonistic pleasure. Ripe apples, pears and pineapples only begin to describe the true fruit-forward complexities which have been captured in the glass. It is indeed a gustatorial snapshot of the ripe grapes themselves on the day of harvest.

'Merlot '05"- Santa Ynez Valley- This is a rich, dark, 100% Merlot with abundant black cherry and kirsch aromas and flavors. It is will structured with fine fruit and oak tannis, yet smooth, supple and balanced.

'Sauvignon Blanc '06'-Los Alamos Valley- This is the real thing: gooseberries, fresh mown hay, ripe green melons, lemon grass, fresh pineapple. The slow, cold fermentation captures in this vibrant wine all the vitality that is Sauvignon Blanc, one of their most truly distinctive varietals.

As part of the Wine Train Experience, passengers will enjoy onboard entertaiment plus a variety of Hors D'oeurves including Roast Beef, Chicken and Shrimp. A display of fresh fruits, an assortment of cheeses and Vegetable Crudite in addition to our delicious Dessert Bar are also available to delight the palate.
