Event Details

In its eight-year history, the Winemaker’s Dinner has raised more than $450,000 for Children’s Home Society & Family Services. Come and join us for an evening of superb food and exquisite wine, live and silent auctions featuring rare wines and travel experiences---all for a good cause. This intimate evening caters to approximately 160 guests. This year, CHSFS is grateful to have Board of Directors member, Patti Meier, and Jack Grundhofer as event chairs.

D’Amico Cucina is the elegant setting where executive chef John Occhiato creates innovative and consistently high-quality fare. The chef personally prepares the meal, pairing each course with wine from a featured vintner.

We are happy to announce that Daniel Stotesbery of Ladera Vineyards in California will be the event’s honorary chair. His wine background started during his childhood at the dinner table (yes, he is a member of the family), and is growing rapidly as he goes into the field to work with distributors. He also helps with winery tours.

Ladera Vineyards will be featuring their 2005 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at the event. Ladera is the home of estate grown and produced Cabernet Sauvignon. Behind their fine wines is their historic 1886 restored and renovated stone winery and underground barrel caves.
