How is it that one of the world’s pre-eminent wine growing nations, with wine history back to the Holy Roman Empire and growing one of the most joyful and delicious grapes on our planet, could possibly have a so-so reputation with today’s wine drinkers? For those who claim they don’t like German wines because they can’t stand sweet, be prepared for delicious surprises. Be amazed as we explore the depths of not only the noble Riesling grape, but some striking variations as well.
