So..I have spent alot of time looking for wineries that aren't in this for the money - but give a good portion of their proceeds (if not all like Jarhead) back to the community through charities big and small. This weekend will be the first of a "pet" series of tastings from wineries who give serious portions of their profits to charitable organizations. Featured is Woman's Heart Disease, Autism, AIDS, and Brest Cancer Research as well as Children of Fallen Marines Scholarship Funds, and if I can pull this one off Tucson Medical Center Cancer Research too.

So not only do these wines have more than one purpose they are even good! Well, I'll be!
