Each Friday in January, Bern’s Fine Wines & Spirits will offer their popular Crush Hour wine tastings. Unwind from the week while enjoying and learning something new about wine. The Shop’s knowledgeable staff and special guests will be on hand to answer any questions.
The Grand Appellations of Burgundy January 9, 2009 $40 per person, plus tax
Guest speaker Dave Robert will lead a seated seminar featuring eight wines from the Grand Appellations of Burgundy. This tasting will offer overview of the Cote D’Or with whites and reds from the most famous villages, including Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard, Nuits-Saint-George, Vosne-Romanee, Chambolle-Musigny & Gevrey-Chambertain. Great Burgundy producers Bruno Clair, Mongeard-Mugneret, Girardin, Etienne Sauzet and more will be featured.
Also explore cheese and wine pairings as five artisanal cheeses from the Bern’s Cave du Fromage will be paired with the wines.
