On Tuesday, September 9, 2008, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Bern’s Fine Wines & Spirits will host a Long Shadows Wine Dinner. Recently named ‘Winery of the Year’ by Food & Wine Magazine, Long Shadows continues to amass critical acclaim with their impressive range of wines.

Long Shadows Vintners is Washington State’s premier wine project and was started by Washington wine legend Allen Shoup. The vision was to create Washington’s finest wines by partnering with winemaking legends from different parts of the world that have cast a ‘long shadow’ in their respective regions.

Great winemakers such as Randy Dunn (Dunn Vineyards), John Duval (Penfold’s Grange), Michel Roland, Armin Diel (Germany), Folonari (Italy) and more make up the coterie of vintners involved in the project.
