Wine Spectator has honored Damariscotta River Grill with an Award of Excellence on their magazine's list of the Best Wine Lists of 2008. They have also distinguished the Grill as a restaurant that "features inexpensive wine pricing." In honor of this achievement, Damariscotta River Grill is offing a series of celebration tastings that highlight their fabulous list. Every Wednesday evening in August from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Grill will feature four wines and free hors d'oeuvres. All profits from these tastings will benefit the Lincoln County Community Energy Fund.
