Sonoma Wine-Wine Spectrum host Dan and Gloria Schaefer with Audelssa Estate Winery

At a breath stealing 1800 feet above sea level, against harsh winds and in rugged soil the Audelssa vines cascade down the southwestern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. Dan and Gloria Schaefer began planting vines in 1990 to take advantage of the potential this site had for producing incredible, intense fruit. With the support of Arrowood Winery in 2000 they began producing their own label. The Mountain Terrace Vineyard withstands the elements each year to create wines vividly alive with the character of the land that nurtures them.
