| FETE DE LA MUSIQUE (World Music Day Event) - FREE!
Michel-Schlumberger invites you to our second annual Fête de la Musique! The Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day, was an idea conceived by the French Minister of Culture in 1981 and first took place in 1982. It began in France, but has spread to Belgium, Britain, India, Malaysia, and many other countries. The purpose of the festival is simply to promote and celebrate all kinds of music. In France (and elsewhere), amateur musicians are encouraged to perform in the streets!
Our Fête de la Musique will be held at our Estate in Healdsburg. The event is, of course, free to attend. Our concept is to have as many local musicians as possible participating – multiple "stages" will have musicians playing “sets”. This is all about fun and food and wine and, most of all, MUSIC. RSVP's appreciated but not required.
Wine and beverages for sale. Limited Artisan Crepes and Cheese Baskets for sale. Bring picnic food if you’d like |
