The Consular Agency of France and the French American Chamber of Commerce invite you to a four-course Bastille Day dinner prepared and served by "The Chef In The Hat!" Thierry Rautureau, the Rover's team, Art Institute chefs and students, and Maitre d'Hotel Dieter Schafer. … and with dancing to live French music until midnight. The Bal des Pompiers (firefighters' ball) is a great tradition in France and is part of the celebration for Bastille Day. The firefighters of each city and village are hosts of a ball which often includes music and partying in the streets. On the main square of any village, people enjoy a live band, usually with accordion, and eat, drink and dance with the firefighters under the warm summer night sky.
