Scottsdale Wine-Latin Rhythms at the Kokopelli Winery

It’s getting hot and steamy in Arizona, so let’s party with some spicy SALSA… Join us for Kokopelli’s annual Latin Rhythms Festival – July 18-20 at the Bistro@Kokopelli Winery in Chandler.

We’ll have some unique Latin wine-based drinks, Latin food and Latin music. Brent Scherer will play classical Latin guitar Friday night from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and Saturday from 1 to 4 pm. Enjoy the Freddie Duran Plan Band Saturday night from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and again Sunday from 12:30 to 3:30.

Drop by the Bistro at 7:30 pm on Saturday for our Salsa Dance Competition. We’ll have some pros on hand to show you how it is done and give you some pointers! Enter to win great prizes!!!

Sample some unique Latin and Caribbean dishes only on the menu for the Latin Rhythms festival weekend -- Spicy Garlic Shrimp appetizers, Camarones Salad, Mango Chicken Salad, Smothered Enchiladas, Jerk Platter, Pork Tenderloin with Costa Rican Coffee Glaze, Pasta Paela, Latin Kebabs, and more, topped off with Cuban Drunken Sponge Cake. Join us Thursday night for a special “sneak preview” of the special menu!

We’ll also have a few wine-based frozen drinks – Wine-A-Ritas, “Pinot” Coladas, Strawberry Surfs – made with wine not spirits. They’ll cool you off on a hot summer day!
