| If you love to play outdoors and you love wine too, you might just find this one-day hike & wine-tasting tour to be the perfect midsummer event. First, there's a hike that promises grassy meadows, grand redwoods, open woodland and chaparral, and the sunny banks of a warm and meandering river. Then there's a gourmet feast, followed by a tasting of fine local wines!
And what's more, there's swimming in the middle of the hike! What better way to enjoy Summer than to shuck your boots and make a splash?
That's right! You're going to hike through the redwoods to the ol' swimmin' hole on the river. On the way, you'll actually cross the river twice. That alone will make this hike different and exciting.
After the hike, it's picnic time! You'll replenish yourself with lots of healthy good eats with your new-found winehiking friends around the picnic table. Next, we'll all head up the road to world-famous Bonny Doon Winery to savor their renowned one-of-a-kind wines.
