Fantesca Estate & Winery's “Hands-on Harvest” will give wine aficionados and budding vintners (the Crush Crew) a chance to experience the magic of harvest for a day—without having to quit their day jobs! The “Hands-on Harvest” day-long package includes: • Fresh fruits, baked goods and coffee to fuel the “Crew” • A hands-on exploration of a day in the life of a winemaker during harvest • Learning how to determine ripeness, pick and sort fruit • Educational information about the Spring Mountain District, Fantesca’s 9-acre vineyard and their rigorous farming practices • A rare tasting of Fantesca’s 2002 and 2003 Cabernet Sauvignons, as well as a component tasting of the 2004 vintage in Fantesca’s cave • A harvest lunch at Proprietors Susan and Duane Hoff’s home; sunning, swimming and sipping the afternoon away • Six signed bottles of Fantesca’s 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
