Given the choice of a little warmth and sunshine would you pick Florida or, expense and travel time being equal, Australia or South Africa? This week’s flight will take us on a virtual tour of these two countries, both which are known for Shiraz (aka Syrah). The wines will also reign from different regions showing that there is no one such thing as an Aussie or South African Shiraz and that differences in microclimate and terroir make all wines unique.
