San Francisco Bay Area Wine-Italian Wines All the Time

Wine enthusiasts are often in the dark about many of the hundreds and hundreds of wines and varietals of Italy—the most in the world. Of course, everyone knows what a Chianti is, but what about wines such as Giuseppe Lonardi’s Veronese Privilegia? What’s that? A unique blend of corvina and cabernet franc—and the wine is sublime! You’ll get the inside scoop along with some handy advice about what a particular wine is by looking at the area where it comes from. Sangiovese is usually Tuscany. In the meantime, you’ll taste over a dozen terrifico vinos from simple to out of this world with Roberto Hernandez, a Bay Area wine educator, as your guide. Love Brunello?
