Winemaker dinner at Nectar Burlingame with

Flowers Vineyards and Winery
Wednesday, April 9th at 7pm


Join us for our inaugural Winemaker Dinner, with esteemed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer, Flowers Vineyard & Winery, from the stunningly beautiful Sonoma Coast.   Chat with our esteemed guests from Flowers, Katy Wilson and Keiko Niccolini as they guide us in a tasting of their gorgeous wines.   Chef Jeff Lloyd has crafted a delectable dish to be paired with each of these wines, designed to coax the soul from each nectar.  Join us for a beautiful night of palate teasing wines, delicious fare and convivial company.

oyster  &  caviar trio:

crispy potato-crusted hama hama oyster w/ champagne sabayon &  trout caviar,

velvety oyster bisque with fresh chervil and sevruga caviar,

raw pearl point oyster with pickled ginger mignonette and tobiko

2006 Flowers Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

 

course two

squab with foie gras:

orange glazed pan-roasted squab with nutmeg-quinoa &  spring
vegetables, drizzled with blackberry gastrique

2006 Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

 

course three

roasted fennel risotto:

risotto with roasted fenel, wild black trumpet mushrooms,
and charred radicchio, showered with a truffle nage

2005 Flowers 'Andreen-Gale' Pinot Noir

 

course four

grilled bison:

dressed with a balsamic-worcestershire vinaigrette, accompanied by
garlic-herb roasted potatoes, glazed shallots & grilled spring onions

2005 Flowers 'Francis Thompson' Pinot Noir

 

course five

blue cheese duet:

blue cheese soufflé  &  roaring-forties blue atop toasted
walnut bread and a drizzle of acacia honey
