San Francisco Bay Area Wine-Junior Achievement's 10th Annual Wine Tasting and Auction

On April 5, 2008, Junior Achievement will hold its 10th Annual Wine Tasting and Auction. This event will take place at the Officer’s Club, Presidio, San Francisco, and is one of four major fundraisers that collectively provide over $1 million dollars to support these essential educational programs throughout the Bay Area.

Approximately 300 guests from the Bay Area will attend this year’s auction. Attendees are mostly affluent community activists with a passion for fine food and wine. The afternoon includes a reception and wine pouring with 20 wineries, beginning with a wonderful silent auction and concluding with an impressive live auction. There will also be artisan food and restaurant samplings, cheese and chocolate tasting, live jazz, and cooking demonstrations.
