San Diego Wine-Krug & Ruinart Champagne Tasting at Tango Wine, San Diego

Many Champagne houses would like to lay claim to the accolade of being the longest established house, but only one may do so in truth and that house is Ruinart. We will be tasting the Ruinart Blanc de Blanc which is made in the pure Ruinart tradition exclusively from 100% Premier Cru Chardonnay grapes. Also highly rated the Ruinart Rose is made with a high proportion of Chardonnay giving great finesse and elegance.

Krug is one of the greatest names in Champagne, producing big rich wines that can live for many years in bottle, although here at Tango Wine it rarely does! Established in Reims in 1843 by Johann-Joseph Krug and is still influenced by the Krug family.
