| Cavaillon Restaurant in San Diego's Santaluz community will kick off a “Week of Giving” on May 4th with a special Four-Course Wine Dinner at the restaurant. The dinner will be in honor of Cavaillon's "Week of Giving" program in which the resturant will donate 10% of its sales during May 4-10 to Casa de Amparo, an Oceanside nonprofit serving abused, abandoned and neglected children throughout San Diego County.

First Course
Award-winning foie gras au torchon, toasted brioche, dried apricot mousseline

Fourme d'Ambert crostini, organic spring mix, peppered honey
Second Course
Petrale sole, cauliflower and leek medley, capers and lemon

Roasted diver scallops, purple artichoke risotto, fresh herbs
Third Course
Maple leaf duck breast, port wine reduction

Braised short ribs, sweet potato mousseline, spring vegetables brunoise
Dessert
Warm dark chocolate “pastilla’’, raspberry sorbet

Strawberry tart, crunchy tuile, lime and mascarpone ice cream

$75 per person with wine pairings

Reservations are recommended but not required May 5th - 10th.
10% of all proceeds at Cavaillon Restaurant will be donated to Casa de Amparo May 4-10, 2008.
