What’s a Meritage, you ask? It’s a made-up word that combines “merit” & “heritage” and refers to California wine made from traditional Bordeaux varieties. For reds, that means blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The white ones are typically blends of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. Join us as we taste 7 great examples.
