Training is underway all over Northern California, as the culinary elite prepare to go for the gold at the 6th Annual Celebrity Chef Challenge: Kitchen Olympics!
Join us and “Olympic Announcers” Councilmember Rob Fong & Sharon Gerber at “Kitchen Stadium” (aka the Old Sugar Mill) for an evening of culinary athleticism featuring seven “Olympic Challengers” (Professional Regional Chefs) competing in an outdoor arena with five surprise ingredients to create three fabulous dishes in 45 minutes! All under the watchful eyes of the “Olympic Judicial Committee” which includes 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist Ruthie Bolton of the Sacramento Monarchs!
Spectators will be treated to the festivities of the “Olympic Village” which includes a lavish food show, local wine sampling, hosted beer and wine bars, live musical performances, artwork, silent auction and more!
Proceeds benefit InAlliance, a non-profit social-service agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. 2008 funds will go toward the development of a service program for children with disabilities.
