This is the first segment of a three-class series. This seminar and tasting focus on comparing and contrasting Old World and New World wines while learning about the regions from which they were made. Comparisons include: the styles of Chardonnay from Burgundy versus those from California, differences in Merlot grown in Bordeaux in comparison to Napa Valley. The class concludes with a brief overview of sparkling wine production and a tasting of real Champagne versus a French sparkling wine. Attendees will be able to purchase featured wines at a 30% discount the night of the class.
