Join us for a Sunday evening of gourmet foods matiched with the award winning wines of Forchini Vineyards. This will be a five course dinner matching these wines. The menu will be posted on our web site closer to the event.
The wines to be tasted are below:
1. 2006 Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. Barrel fermented in 8 year old Burgundy barrels to promote the fruit flavors without the heay essence of oak. Malic acid retained to give a crisp lean finish.
2. 2005 Papa Nonno which is a Tuscan style red from the Dry jCreek Valley. An Estate co-fermented blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet & Carignane with 6% mixed heirloom white varietals. Similar in style to a Tuscn Chianti.
3. 2005 Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley. 100 year old head pruned and dry farmed vines. Ha intense berry flavors and aromas.
4. 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Dry Creek Valley is a youthful Cab with noble structure, vibrant color, and bright flavors of cassis, cherry, crrant, anise, chocolate and mint |
