Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

The earliest history of French wine goes back to the 6th century BCE, and many of France's regions count their wine-making history to Roman times. France is the source of many grape varieties (such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah), several winemaking practices, and the names of many French wine regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne are widely known.

Experience the bracing acidity of the real Chablis and a Sauvignon Blanc. No journey through France is complete without tasting their Pinot Noir.

Join us for a fun and educational evening as we blind taste 6 wines in 3 flights then pair them with dishes prepared by the executive chef. In each class we will explore the topic du jour as well as the wine & food connection. Learn the language of wine in a friendly, relaxed environment and meet others with similar interests. Class materials include our Wine and Food pairing booklet with hundreds of wine and food pairing recommendations. You will become more confident when ordering wine in a restaurant or describing your preferences at your local wine shop. All levels of wine knowledge are welcome. This is a perfect way to start your week and an incredible value! Reservations and prepayment are required. 24 hour cancellation for a full credit toward a future class. We ask that you do not apply perfume or cologne prior to class. The New England Wine School is a non-degree granting program. For full course schedule see www.NewEnglandWineSchool.com. Come join us. We start promptly! Cheers!
