Been at wines for a while and want to learn more? Some folks have made wine a pretentious and intimidating topic. But shouldn’t we each enjoy wines by developing our own individual taste preferences? We’ll discuss those basics that you knew and maybe forgot, those topics that give you a framework to develop taste preferences.

We’ll discuss things like where wine came from and where wine is going. How wine is made and New World Wine vs. Old World Wine. How do we experience wines from a sensory perspective. How we taste vs. how the Sommeliers taste. We’ll talk Fundamentals. But We’ll Keep the Fun in Fundamentalss

Format is an informal classroom setting with Pete Hanowich leading the tasting and discussions. Dress is Casual.

Cheese and baguettes included. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Tasting begins promptly at 6:00 PM and last approximately one hour. Must be over 21 years of age to attend this event.
