Stubbs Vineyard is hosting a Midsummer Party to benefit Schools For Kabul on June 14. It will be an evening of music by the local group the Sofa Kings, delicious food including a spit-roasted local pig and great wine. Schools for Kabul is a student-run fundraising project aiming to build a school in Afghanistan. Tickets are $60 in advance; to purchase and RSVP, contact DJ Colbert, dj@stubbsvineyard.com, 707/293-6977. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
