| | Luis Reyneri, founder of GrapeLiving.com is currently a candidate for the Master Sommelier Diploma in February 2009. A graduate of Boston University’s Hotel & Food Program, Mr. Reyneri was President of the School of Hospitality’s student government and was student assistant for Julia Child and Jacques Peppin. During an internship in Brussels, Belgium, Luis realized a deep passion for excellence in service and wine. Upon return, he founded the BU wine tasting club: still in existence today. Since graduating in 1990, Luis has left his mark of excellence with the Hyatt Regency, California Pizza Kitchen, House of Blues, the Aladdin Resort and Casino, The Bellagio Resort and the five diamond Le Cirque Restaurant. After passing his advanced sommelier exam in 2004, Luis embarked with his wife and infant son on a 9-month self-sponsored vineyard tour throughout Europe furthering his education and passion for the art of the vine. He worked the harvest with two renowned winemakers: Mr. Jacques Lardiere at Maison Louis Jadot in Burgundy, France and Mr. Fritz Hasselbach of Weingut Gunderloch in Rheinhessen, Germany. Mr. Reyneri writes for numerous publications and was a wine professor at UNLV in the food and beverage program before returning to Florida. The Reyneri’s love to cook, explore wine, great music, travel, and share their passions with others.
