Topics covered include: tasting wine, grape varieties, basic viniculture and viticulture, and the world's most important wine producing regions. 101 is the place to start for beginners and those who wish to solidify a foundation in wine studies and practice wine tasting. 101 is not a prerequisite for Level 2, but does provide students with important and useful information. A Text book is provided in this class.
