Other New Hampshire Wine-Zorvino Vineyards - Concerts at the Winery presents THE ROWAN BROTHERS & Special Guest

Welcome to the first of our series of “Concerts at the Winery” to be held on Thursday, August 7^th at 7:00 pm. We are very excited and honored to feature The Rowan Brothers !!! Chris & Lorin have been playing their brand of acoustic American roots, bluegrass-flavored folk and Everly Brothers style rock & country with haunting melodies and tight two part sibling harmony for over 30 years. From their early days in the 70’s, playing with such greats as Jerry Garcia, David Grisman & Phil Lesh to the present, where one of their recent songs was recorded by Ricky Skaggs for his Grammy-winning album, “Soldier of the Cross,” the Rowans have left their mark on American music.

Chris & Lorin have been headliners everywhere from the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival to The Telluride Bluegrass Festival and openers to such acts as James Taylor, Shawn Colvin, Alison Krauss & Nancy Griffith. We are thrilled to feature the Rowans as the first headliners of our concert series at Zorvino’s ! Also, I am excited to announce we have just added "Avi & Celia" to the bill for the evening. They will be opening for Chris & Lorin at 7:00 pm. They have just released their first CD, "Off the Floor" & to quote Perfomer Magazine, " A bright and energetic combination of folk, country, bluegrass and rock.” Their original album prompted famed New England music venue, Higher Ground, to award them Artist of the Month in March 2007. This show will be a General Admission event with first come, first served seating at tables in our post & beam facility and tickets at only $ 20 / pp ! The cash bar will be open and we will offer light appetizers along with your admission price. Doors will open promptly at 6:00 pm and the concert will run from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm. This is a 21 & older concert only !!!
