 | | Jamie Foster sports a prestigious background in wine, having studied at Aspen Wine Program, International Wine School, and New York’s Institute of Culinary Education. She has been awarded the Advanced Certificate in Wines, Spirits and Other Alcoholic Beverages through London’s Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Also, Foster has been designated “Expert es Vins de Bordeaux through The Full Bordeaux Experience and was recently assigned as a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) by the Society of Wine Educators.
Foster’s first book “From the Projects to Prosecco: How I Discovered Wines from Aghiorghitiko to Zweigelt” is due out in 2008 and she is a speaker and spokesperson for Vin Strategies, LLC. She is also affiliated with the Washington Wine Academy, the premiere local resource for wine education. As a dynamic wine educator, Foster leads classes in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Her upcoming classes will be centered on the Le Nez du Vin wine teaching method, an instructional and educational guide. This tool has been used for over 30 years by wineries, merchants, and educators and Ms. Foster offers a fun and entertaining way for students to effortlessly develop their senses and enjoy the ultimate wine experience.
