The dog days of summer are here and what better time to learn how to prepare some delicious Caribbean dishes. Best of all, these recipes are personal favorites of our instructor, who lived in the Caribbean for 3 1/2 years. We'll learn how to prepare some of her favorite dishes, including: Salad with Jicama and Oranges, Cuban Black Bean Soup, Poulet Roti a la Creole (roasted chicken stuffed with bananas and lime), and a fabulous dessert. This is very much a hands-on class, and best of all, you'll get to enjoy a generous portion of the day's offerings! Class size is limited so purchase soon! About the instructor: Our chef for these classes always receives rave reviews from our members. She is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and has worked in restaurants and catering in D.C. and Northern Virginia. For the last 15 years, she has taught a wide range of cooking classes.
