Northern Virginia Wine-Balducci's Food and Wine Festival

Balducci’s team of tastemakers and merchants have voted on their Top 100 favorite items for Spring and to share the ir findings, the Alexandria, VA location has planned a weekend full of irresistible food and wine samplings. The festival is set to take place Friday April 4 – Sunday April 6 at the Alexandria , VA specialty food store. ( 600 N. Franklin Street .)

Spring Fling Weekend will feature three packed days of store samplings and demonstrations in every department of the store. Customers will enjoy wine demonstrations by Balducci’s master wine merchant (and receive special discounts on cases of wine). They’ll learn about Balducci’s newest line of American Artisinal Cheeses, and sample various coffees and teas. Guests will also enjoy samples of freshly baked strawberry rhubarb pie, and view chef demonstrations in the meat and seafood departments.

Events are scheduled for Friday, April 4 from 4:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday, April 5 from 12:00pm-5:00pm and Sunday, April 6 from 11:00am-4:00pm.

The three-day event will also feature various discounts on items sampled during the weekend demonstrations, and free daffodils for all guests at checkout. All demos and sampling stations are free, and no registration is required.
