Northern Virginia Wine-Washington Wine Academy's Wine Bar Bus Tour to Jaleo Crystal City, Sonoma, and Urbana!

Our monthly “Wine Around” in partnership with Reston Limousine - where we visit some of our area’s great selection of wine bars - continues on April 15th. Mark the end of the 2007 Federal Tax season by enjoying wine samples at three wine bars, plus an early meal of Spanish tapas, and you can sit back and enjoy while we take you around in a limo bus!

Price includes transportation, tapas and wine samples.

Our "Wine Around" on 15 April will start at Jaleo Crystal City for tapas and wine samples. Then we will board a Reston Limousine limo bus to head over to Sonoma in Capitol Hill, where two 2-ounce pours of their wines are waiting for you. Next we will board our limo bus again for a trip to Urbana near Dupont Circle, for a tasting of three of their Italian wines.

Jaleo Crystal City is one of the three premier tapas restaurants in the DC area by Jose Andres, and Jaleo Crystal City offers its own Spanish wine shop on the second floor. We will be hosted in their Blue Room for this tour.

Sonoma is a popular destination in Capitol Hill for creative New American cuisine and wines, including a 40+ bottle Cruvinet. Everyone enjoyed Sonoma during our February wine bar bus tour, so we are heading back there again.

Urbana was nominated as one of five finalists for the RAMMY Award for "Hottest Bar Scene" by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. Urbana specializes in Italian wines and is located in the Hotel Palomar. Urbana has prepared a special dessert and sweet wine combination for our visit which you can purchase that night. Out-of-towners may want to consider Hotel Palomar for their overnight stay.

NOTE - You MUST bring $5 cash per person to cover wine charges at Jaleo. This will be collected upon check in. This is due to ABC regulations where the venue must collect the fees not WWA.
