Northern Virginia Wine-Washington Wine Academy's Wine Bar Bus Tour to Grand Cru, Carafe Wine Makers, and Tallula Wine Bar!

Our "Wine Around" on 11 March will start at Grand Cru Wine Bar in Ballston Virginia for a glass of wine and dinner. Then we will board a Reston Limousine limo bus to head over to Carafe Wine Makers in Old Town Alexandria, and then we will board our limo bus again for a trip to Tallula Wine Bar in Arlington.

Grand Cru - a unique combination wine bar, cafe' and wine market - opened last August. Carafe Wine Makers is more than a wine bar. They make their own wine -which you will sample - but you will also tour their “microwinery” and learn how you can make your own wine on the premises! Cap off the evening in the Eatery – Tallula’s back lounge. Tallula is northern Virginia’s most popular wine bar and casual restaurant, offering over 70 wines by the glass.

We will be at each wine bar long enough for you to order full glasses from the bar if you so choose.

Dinner: Included in the price of your tour! Order one of the entrees specified on our website at http://www.WashingtonWineAcademy.org/public-events.htm#mar11 when you arrive at Grand Cru. The entrees are made-to-order, so please try to avoid a late start! Also included is a glass of wine, which you can select from their list of nine house wines by the glass.

NOTE - You MUST bring $15 cash per person to cover wine charges at Grand Cru, Carafe and Tallula. This will be collected upon check in. This is due to ABC regulations where the venue must collect the fees not WWA.
