MAKE-A-WISH;
100% of proceeds to go to Make-A-Wish in honor of Morton’s 30th Anniversary Celebration
ROCKLAND/BERGEN: August 20, 2008 -- Morton's The Steakhouse in Hackensack will host a special wine tasting evening on Friday, October 17th from 6 – 7:30 PM to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey. The event corresponds with Morton’s 30th anniversary and the partnership with Make-A-Wish during Morton’s “30 Wishes for 30 Years” national campaign.
The cost for the evening will be $50 and one hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish. Attendees will have a chance to put in their bid for a 27 liter bottle of current vintage Charles Krug Cabernet, enough for 144 glasses of wine – as well as a special “Morton’s in Your Home” dinner for eight. The silent auction for the 27 liter bottle and the Morton’s in Your Home dinner will extend through December when a winner will be announced. Anyone can visit Morton’s from mid October through December to place a bid.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of New Jersey grants the wishes of children between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 who have life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Currently headquartered in Union, NJ, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of New Jersey is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a diverse and respected volunteer Board of Directors.
