Expose Yourself! to New and Exciting Wines. Clay Station Vineyards and SmartsCo will host “Expose Yourself!” -- an Open House to be held at Bacchus Wine Made Simple. Aimed at adventurous wine drinkers who want to go beyond common grape varietals, this will be an evening of wine exploration and socializing that will please both novices and wine geeks alike. Guests will test out their ‘wine smarts’ as they taste six Clay Station wines: Viognier, Malbec, Shiraz, Petite Sirah, Petite Sirah/Cabernet Sauvignon and Old Vine Zinfandel. The free flowing program will include information from Kimberly Charles from the Society of Wine Educators who will demystify some of these exciting wines and award prizes to the winners of the WineSmarts competition. Tickets for the OPEN HOUSE are $20 per person and include wine, light bites and a Riedel Crystal Wine Series Glass from which to taste and to take home. Unlike our other events, this is an OPEN HOUSE format. Spend approximately 20 minutes tasting and exploring, at your leisure, anytime between 6pm to 9pm.
