Giacomo Conterno, the fiercely passionate traditionalist, produces one of the most outstanding and awe-inspiring expressions of Nebbiolo on the planet. His flagship wine, Monfortino, is produced from the hillside vineyard Cascina Francia in Serralunga and only in the best vintages. The Barolos from this area are the most austere, powerful and longest lived of them all. These are seamlessly perfect wines that tempt immortality. This will be a spectacular event, featuring 1990, 1988, 1985, 1982, 1978, 1974, 1971, 1970, 1968, 1964, 1961, 1952, and 1945!
