Oregonians will routinely tell you that America’s greatest Pinot Noirs are made in their state. But at the last EWS Pinot Noir Open, California Pinots handily defeated Oregon Pinots - and Burgundy too! Californians will never cede the notion that Oregon Pinot Noir is superior to theirs. So, in an attempt to settle this issue, we’ve gathered 12 of America’s most highly respected Pinot Noirs, six from each state, for the vinous equivalent to wrestling’s Steel Cage Death Match.
