This is the second of our classes that pose a question. Umbria has long lived in the shadow of neighboring Tuscany. Yet the careful cultivation of unique varieties like Sagrantino coupled with the classic Sangiovese point the way for this regions emergence as the next wine powerhouse on the boot.
