Wines from Spain’s 15th annual Great Match: Wine & Tapas tasting, a benefit for New York Cares, the city’s leading volunteer organization, helping more than 400,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers each year. The Great Match is the largest Spanish walk around tasting in the U.S. featuring more than 300 sought after Spanish wines. The event is open to public and tickets are $70 and can be purchased online at www.greatmatch.org or by calling 888-772-4694. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Celebrated chef José Andrés, host of the PBS series “Made In Spain,” will be joined by 10 prominent New York area chefs, each of whom will prepare small signature dishes designed to show the versatility of Spanish wines.
